This sustainably harvested agave Angustifolia, commonly known as maguey Espadín, is all estate grown in the central valleys of Oaxaca in San Juan del Rio. Typically it takes this agave 7-9 years to reach maturity and and it requires 7-10kg of agave to make 1 liter of mezcal.
